Second year Computer Science and Business student at UBC
I am a 20 year old student from Vancouver, BC, Canada! I like to push myself out of my comfort zone and seek new challenges through hackathons and product challenges. In my free time, you can catch me trying to learn a new programming language (right now I am learning React.js) or grabbing bubble tea with my friends (my favourite flavour is the classic pearl milk tea.) I am down to collaborate on projects so feel free to contact me if you're interested.
HANA & Analytics
I have had the opportunity to work on a report that shows open source software libaries and it's corresponding security vulnerability risk. I improved the UX/UI of the report by implementing a pop-up feature, a legend for the risk scores. Furthermore, I implemented charts and bar graphs, and wrote scripts in Qlikview to pull in additional information relevant to the libraries.
I lead weekly lab sections, mark problem sets and hold office hours for UBC’s first year computer science course: CPSC 110 - Computation, Programs, and Programming. I have demonstrated strong debugging skills and attention to detail by helping students identify errors in their code.
